Dividend Update November 2019

Whats up guys welcome back to the blog, for the month of November i went on my first paid vacation EVER in Las Vegas. A wonderful trip with my now FULLY RETIRED parents (they officially retired in October). It was weird not waking up super early getting ready for my usual 14 hour days i like to do every other day or back to back to push for success. I caught myself waking up early and then realizing "oh wait im on vacation" XD. When i have achieved a $10,000,000 dividend portfolio, or achieve that figure spread out across different assets like real estate properties then i can lay in bed all day. Until then its FULL THROTTLE guys, a continuation of a young man on a mission.

Hope you all were successful in the month of November, this month marks another dividend record for the 3RD MONTH IN A ROW (punches hard through the air). So with out further or do lets go over the results

Roth IRA

Total: $82.75

Taxable Account

Total: $23.52

Grand Total: $106.27 (Im running out of champagne)
YoY: 61.72%
Purchases: 6 shares of LTC, & 4 shares of VCLT

Alright guys straight to the point, as usual im deploying more and more capital as hard as i can to grow and compound the Taxable Account. Last 3 months were just full raw brutal determination, i dont plan on diversifying anytime soon. I like where my portfolio is at, i stick to what i 100% understand and i keep it simple. Honorable mentions if diversification comes into play again MMM, CL, & GPC.

To celebrate this new record im going to share a special video from the past (im still jamming to that sweet dividend money just changing things up). This video is what got me into investing back in 2015 when i was 20 years old. When you watch this video i want you to have this question in the back of your mind "What if i already have a portfolio that invest $100+ a month for me before 25 years old?". I came up with that idea back then, and made it come true. (Goes ahead and makes a time portal to 2015 to give my 20 year old self a firm handshake) This video is literally the prologue to the Dividend Mascot and my crazy enthusiasm XD

Blast from the past

(watch the entire video before reading the section below)

I be like "but Dave what if i already have a portfolio investing $100+ a month for me before 25, wouldn't that automatically make me a millionaire by 65". Very high chance my theory is correct based on compound interest and hypothetical market returns overtime. Imagine a fantasy where you wake up everyday knowing your going to be millionaire when you retire. So now it becomes a video game, so if i can hit like $1.5 million by 65 by doing nothing, now lets see how i can leverage using my youth and long time horizon by going for $10 million. I want this all to be motivation for all who is reading.

Thats it for this one folks, i try to give my audience "straight to the point" type content, thats why my blogs always seemed short. I also want to say thank you for all the love from Facebook. I had NO IDEA that i would get all the likes and comments for running this blog the way i do (expressing my imagination and creativity). So i hope you all enjoyed Dave Ramsey yelling at you XD, keep stackin that sweet dividend money and ill see you guys next time =D

Dividend Update October 2019

Whats up guys, welcome back to the blog =) I have hit yet another NEW DIVIDEND RECORD 2 month streak. Everything with dividend income and the fast growth in value in assets is going extra smooth. I know i say this like every month but im giving this all i got guys. Here's a short story i want to share with you guys, a few days ago i went to Costco to order 4 new tires for my car. The bill was around $905, and even though i had enough in savings to pay for everything. (i always have these thoughts like) i would want my 40 year old self in the future to just swipe his debit not even thinking about savings, because every month he has 4 figures of dividend income just piling up in his checking account while hes still works 40 hours a week. Absolutely no financial stress, just a little something extra to add so you guys can better understand my strong ambition. Alright guys without further or do lets go over the dividend income =)

Roth IRA

 Total: $80.72

Taxable Account

 Total: $24.91

Grand total: $105.63 (warm and fuzzy)
YoY: 76.07%
Purchases: 8 shares of LTC & 5 shares of VWOB

LTC holding looking nice and fat, just how i wanted it. Roth IRA will be maxed out with the upcoming payday this friday. So ill be moving back over to the taxable account, to get my 4 holdings in that account extra fat. Cant get enough of that sweet compound interest, it will get to the point to where its just a numbers game. I would like to bring my 4 holdings (VCLT, VZ, PM, RDS.B) to around $3,000 each in a value. Less holdings + Heavier weight = Faster portfolio growth overall ;)

I truly enjoy what i do guys, with this blog and my Facebook page. Its probably one of the most unique blog/ FB page will ever come across with in the dividend investing community. With this music video i have below to celebrate another dividend record, starting a 2 month streak will show you guys the crazy level of enthusiasm i have when it comes to building wealth in the stock market. Alright folks i guess its another jam to a new dividend record back to back =D

My little jam to another
New Record!!!

(Papa Roach - Getting away with murder)

Funny story behind this video, i actually saw this on Mtv back in 2009 before i started my walk to high-school one morning. Had NO CLUE what was going on, (Stock market crash) back in those days i was just a freshman kid that only cared about the next new call of duty video game XD. Anyway guys hope guys enjoyed my little update, keep on stacking sweet dividends, and ill see you guys next time =D

Dividend Update September 2019

Whats up fellas, welcome back to the Dividend Mascot blog =) We have now finished Q3 (3rd Quarter) of 2019, and as you can see by the graph above i have hit a new dividend record of $100+ in a month. So this will average me around $1,200+/year in dividend income.

One of the reason's why i have soo much enthusiasm for DGI (Dividend Growth Investing) is because, lets say i only invest $1,200 in 2020 with $1,200 yearly dividend income re-invested. How much would i have actually invested? If you answered $2,400 then your correct, but only $1,200 came out of pocket. Its like i created my own 401k match, pretty cool right? So along the way the re-invested dividends will start to help by giving you a boost in hitting your milestones. Alright guys, without further or do lets go over the sweet dividend money 🤑

Roth IRA

Total: $77.31

Taxable Account

Total: $24.62

Grand total: $101.93 (pops several bottles of champagne)
YoY: 81.98%
3rd Quarter results: $290.30
Purchases: 2 shares of KMB, 2 shares CLX, 12 shares of LTC, & 5 shares of VWOB

Well unfortunately i did not achieve my Q3 goal of $300+, but its all good i got myself a Benjamin Franklin in 1 month so its cool 🤣 My next goal for the 4th Quarter will be $325+. I currently have $1,100 left on the Roth IRA contributions so LTC is now at a healthy weighting earning me 1 free share a year. So the rest of this change will be invested into VWOB. My long term goal for VWOB and VCLT is to earn me 1 free share a month.

Doing this will better my odds of acheiving my vision of my 40+ year old self  in the future recieving a fat $1,000 check from VCLT into his checking account. Im all about recieving that sweet dividend check so all my bills paid for. So guess what time it is, its time to celebrate my first $100+ month.

My little jam to $100 a month 🤑

(Jaden Smith - Ghost)

What makes this music video perfect is that for a split second you see the number 100 in red at the beginning ;). Mark my words, im possibly the only dividend investor in the world that jams to that sweet dividend money XD.

In all seriousness guys i want you to work hard, push your portfolio's hard, and create your own dividend monopoly (reference to the music video). So you can show off your dividends to me, and make me proud.
Work hard so you can impress ya boy, alright guys thats it for this blog update. I hope you all had a great month with your dividends, and ill see you guys next time 😎

Dividend Update August 2019

Whats up fellas, welcome back to the blog =) i just want to say right off the bat that i appreciate all the support and the growing number of followers on my Facebook page. I nickname it the "behind the scenes" Facebook page, you guys get to see everything. So for the month of August........im pushing this DGI portfolio HARD, whenever i have visions or wake up from a dream of what the future holds for me i kick it into high gear. Ive also made some changes for what i had planned for the left over Roth IRA contributions. Ive hit another milestone of $30,000+, so that means ive surpassed 2 milestones in less then a year in 2019. (previous milestone was $20,000+) So with out further or due lets go over the dividend income.

Roth IRA

Total: $70.33

Taxable Account

Total: $23.17

Grand Total: $93.50
YoY: 52.57%
New Contribution Record: $1,500
New Payday Record: $52.74 (8/1/19)
Purchase: 4 shares of KMB, 5 shares of VWOB
2 shares of JNJ, & 2 shares of CLX

$1,500? I can remember back when i watched Dave Ramsey for the first time talking about how a $100 a month from age 25 to 65 invested will make you a millionaire. While im here at 24 years of age pushing this as hard as i can while im still in my youth. DGI is turning into a real life video game for me, when your this far ahead of the curve its to the point to where you can let off the gas some and hit $2.5 million at retirement or go full throttle non-stop and go for $10 million. My personal goal is to hit $100,000 before 30, that means ill be walking around still in my 20s managing a 6 figure portfolio. I say to myself, i cant believe im talking about these numbers in my 20s.

Alright guys so i have only $2,000 left over on my Roth IRA contribution limit, ive decided to postpone my plans with scaling up CLX, JNJ, & MCD to 4 figures in value. I will accomplish that on the 2020 contributions, as for the left over $2,000 im just going to wrap it up with one of my good old monthly dividend REIT LTC. Other than AMT I haven't messed with any REITS all year, once i get LTC set up to buy 1 "free" share a year, ill contribute the left over to VWOB and call it a day. Then its back over to my Taxable account, continuing to go full throttle. All 4 of my holdings already accumulated almost half a share of interest. We only have one more month until the 3rd quarter comes to a close, 2019 has to be the craziest year so far in my investing career.

From $18,202.28 to $30,500+
Brutal Determination

(as soon as Anakin does that back flip is when January 1st hit)

I want to hit $100K by 30 just as bad as Anakin wants to take down Obi-wan in this video. From the chocking, kicking, and the punching describes how bad i want to be successful. As soon as January 1st hit, i went non-stop full throttle hitting 2 milestones back to back ($20K & $30K). At one point i worked 5 14 hour days back to back. Ask your self this question, how bad do you want your future self to be wealthy? Lets see how much harder i can push this portfolio by Dec. 31st.

Message to all investors, continue to stay motivated and push your wealth to the next level. As for my retirees reading this......just sit back and enjoy the show =D I have soo much fun expressing my enthusiasm/determination with DGI investing on this blog and Facebook page. I appreciate everyone taking the time to follow my crazy journey. Hope you all enjoyed this cool update, keep on stacking that sweet dividend money and ill see you guys next time =D

Dividend Update July 2019

Whats up guys welcome back to the Dividend Mascot blog :) hope you all had a great July. This month was great started off in the $90s for the start of of the 3rd quarter. Continue to push my Roth IRA contributions as hard as i can. This update is going to be short and sweet so scroll down so we can go over the dividend income ;D

Roth IRA

Total: $70.80

Taxable Account

Total: $24.07

Grand Total: $94.87 (good start for 3rd quarter)
YoY: 92.47%
Purchases: 7 shares of KMB

Hopefully this year i can get the Taxable account up to $30- $35 a month by the end of the year, if i max out my Roth IRA fast enough. So far with my Roth IRA plans my PEP holding is now worth 4 figures. One down 3 more to go so MCD, CLX, & JNJ are next to push to 4 figures, giving a well rounded weighting between my higher yielding stocks with some dividend growth and my lower yield stocks with "strong" dividend growth. While keeping a 10% - 15% weight in my bond ETFs all at the same time :) #portfolio management

Going to keep this one short for you guys, pretty much all the updates for the month so i hope you guys enjoyed my little update, keep on stacking that sweet dividend money and ill see you guys next time ;)

Dividend Update June 2019

Happy Fourth July Everybody!!!! As im putting this update together i can hear fireworks going off :)
Whats up fellas, welcome back to the Dividend Mascot blog. As you can see by the the chart above i have hit a new monthly record. This month was the final chapter for the taxable account, all 4 holdings (VCLT) (VZ) (PM) & (RDS-B) are all 4 figures in value which reached my personal quota for the account. Less holdings + heavy weighted holdings = faster compounding overall, the purpose of this account is too provide a cushion of additional income for my 40 year old self 16 years from now. At 40 i will still work and grow both my accounts, this is "semi-retired". The Roth IRA is set for when im 60 which then ill be "fully retired", i call this "The layered retirement plan" for me i have 2 stages. Just wanted to re-visit my plans between the 2 account's as i transition back over to the Roth IRA to max out the left over $4,300 out of $6,000 in yearly contributions. So lets go over the dividend income ;)

Roth IRA

Total:$74.46

Taxable Account

Total: $22.65

Grand Total: $97.11 (pops a bottle of champagne)
YoY: 87.72%
Purchases: 4 shares of PM, 8 shares of VZ, & 6 shares of VCLT

The Quarterly performance for Q2 of 2019 is $263.45, surpassing the goal of $250+. My goal for Q3 is $300+ in dividends. Taxable account also hit a new record surpassing $20+, growing faster than i thought. If you been a follower for a while, you know that i LOVE these boring monthly bond etf's (VCLT & VWOB) that you could set up to spit out a fat dividend every month. VCLT is now one of my biggest holdings, it just boring and brings in monthly cash flow compounding on a monthly basis. I rarely talk about these holdings on this blog, need to show them some more love lol.

As i move over to the Roth IRA my target stocks are (PEP), (CLX), (MCD), & (JNJ) to scale up to 4 figures in value. Strictly targeting my under weighted holdings for the rest of 2019. Im 1,000% determined that i will max out my Roth IRA in no time. Pushing these accounts as hard as i can while im still young.

Infinite Determination like Goku :)

love how he said thats only half his strength, directly correlates with
im only halfway through the year ;)

I almost hit $100 this month so im all fired up for the last 6 months of this year guys. Hope you all enjoyed the blog, keep on stacking that sweet dividend money and ill see you guys next time ;)

Dividend Update May 2019

Whats up guys, welcome back to another dividend blog update. Hope you all had a successful month, we are only 1 month away from finishing Q2 of 2019, and i can already tell that i will accomplish my Q2 goal of $250+ in dividends. I got some more great news, my projected annual dividends has surpassed $1,000/year. This projection is not 100% accurate, on my google drive excel sheets i purposely have all my shares "flat". As in if i have 50.5 shares of a stock, ill will leave it at 50.0 until the interest accumulates a full share. Doing this forces me to work harder than usual, resulting in my dividend income growing like crazy. So i was already at $1,000/year and didn't even realized it, pretty cool huh. Its my way of keeping my determination on full throttle. Below here's a snap shot of the dividend meter on "flat" shares. The next projected goal will be $2,000/year in dividends.

Roth IRA

Total: $66.25

Taxable Account

Total: $15.95

Grand Total: $82.20
YoY: 46.34%
Purchases: 5 shares of RDS.B
NEW DIVIDEND PAYDAY RECORD: $47.25 (5/1/2019)

Hope you guys enjoyed the update, im planning on pushing this even harder for the 2nd half of the 2019. Soon ill be working on maxing out my Roth IRA contribution's. Lets see if im able to double my yearly dividend income 3 years in a row back to back. Keep stacking that sweet dividend money, and ill see you guys next time ;)

Dividend Update April 2019

Whats up fellas, welcome back to the dividend mascot blog ;) hope you all had a great month with your dividend income. I sure did, them sweet bars just keep going up. First month complete for Q2 of 2019 and im already feeling warm and fuzzy about hitting my goal of $250+ for Q2 of 2019, im off to a great start. So lets go over the dividend income ;)

Taxable Account

Total: $14.96

Grand Total: $84.14 (very good start for Q2)
YoY: 87.43%
Purchases: 9 shares of VCLT

My updates have been short and sweet because i do the exact same thing every month. Accumulate more shares of my current holdings to make them dividend payments FAT so they can compound like crazy. Starting to see the Taxable account chugging along, already hitting near $15 for the month. Once im done working on the taxable account, i will return to the Roth IRA ;)

Thank you for following my blog updates, and Facebook page. Keeping on stacking that sweet dividend money and ill see you guys next time ;)

So im feeling warm and fuzzy as we enter the 2nd quarter of 2019 😌. So without further or do lets go over the income.

Roth IRA

Total: $65.03

Taxable

Total: $8.57

Grand Total: $73.60
YoY: 88.81%
Monthly Contribution record: $1,200
Purchases: 4 shares of PM, 7 shares of VZ, 6 shares of RDS.B

I made $204.11 in dividends for Q1 2019, for some who are reading this it could be enough to buy there groceries. I would go to walmart buy my groceries, and use the left over change to maybe get myself a starbucks large caramel frappuccino coffee in the morning before i go to work 😉.

Im on my way to making 4 figures in dividends for the first time in 2019 😉. My goal for Q2 is $250+, as always i will contunie to work really hard to build this dividend income up. Cant wait to seee when i hit $100+/month for 2019.

Hope you guys enjoyed the update, go get that sweet dividend money, and ill see you guys next time 😎

Dividend Update February 2019

Hello everyone welcome back to the Dividend Mascot blog :) hope you all had a successful February. We only have one more month left before we finish Q1 (first quarter) of 2019. I have a very good chance of hitting my goal of $200+ in dividend income for the first 3 months of 2019. So with out further or do lets go over the dividend income.

Roth IRA

Taxable

Total: $74.08
YoY: 71.52%
Purchases: 5 shares of AMT

Not to bad for the 2nd month of the year, im already approaching my highest month of 2018 ;) I will take a break from the Roth IRA and start funding my Taxable Account real Heavy. Getting the taxable account to compound soo fast like its a monopoly game, using compound interest to rack in some heavy dividend payments. Hope you guys enjoyed the update, go get that sweet dividend money, and ill see you guys next time ;)

Dividend Update January 2019

Whats up guys, welcome to the first dividend update of 2019. Today is my birthday, just turned 24 and I feel that this year is going to be the year i hit 2 massive milestones with in a year. If you've followed my Facebook fan page you would already know that my dividend growth portfolio went past $20,000 in value (click on the portfolio tab above if you want to see) and i see myself maybe hitting $30,000 at the end of 2019 because every $10k comes quicker after the next. Took a few days for it to really hit me because im always working so hard that i dont even realize what im achieving in my life.

(flash back to October of 2018) My older sister came to visit during the week of Halloween. Shes one of the very few family members that knows about this. I told her at this rate i may hit $100,000+ in portfolio value when im 30 years old, and she just wanted to faint lol

So without  further or do lets get to business =)

Roth IRA

Taxable Account

Total: $57.75 (great start for the year)
YoY: 98.93%
Purchase: 44 shares of T, 5 shares of PEP
Sold: 32 shares of OHI (entire position)

This is probably the first time EVER during the last 2 years of running this blog have i sold anything on a dividend update. Well guys i got rid of OHI, it was good while it lasted but i already knew this would be a temporary holding, this was when i was learning about REIT's. First bought 18 shares at $33.48 (7/27/17), then when it dipped i bought 11 shares at $27.01 (2/5/18) , and sold the entire position at $33.87 (1/3/19). So a 1.16% gain on the first purchase and a whopping 25.39% gain on the second purchase, not bad for a buy and hold investor ;)

So after i sold OHI and bought a big chunk of T, my plan with AT&T is to dollar cost average my way to 100 shares and then just let it DRIP like crazy while i funnel cash to other dividend stocks. Doing covered calls on T could be a possibility, but i want to take my time a study this before i dive into it. My 100 share project with T will be slow and steady working with the power of compound interest.

So my New Years resolution for 2019 is to get MCD, PEP, JNJ, & CLX to 4 figure holdings in the portfolio, all solid dividend growth companies ;) and as always make more of that sweet dividend money. Well guys thats it for this update, hope you all had a successful January, and ill see you guys next time =D

Dividend Update December 2018

Whats up fellas, welcome back to the Dividend Mascot's blog :) just look at that wonderful set of stairs. I ended the year with a big BANG in dividends, unbelievable new dividend record. I want to thank all my fans (followers) and readers for taking a ride along with me as i take my dividend income to the next level. Just by the performance this month with my dividend, i have no doubt in my mind that i will double my YTD dividends 3 years in a row baby. Below i provided more charts then usual since its the end of the year, to give you guys a deeper look at my dividend performance of 2018.

This is the Quarterly chart, Q = 3 month period. I couldn't believe i made over $200 in Q4 lol, that was my quarterly goal for Q1 of 2019. The portfolio achieved that before the new year even started, so there is no telling how fast ill grow my dividend income for 2019. my Goal for 2019's Q4 is $400+ ;)

This chart is the grand daddy of them all, the yearly dividend income chart ;). Just sit back and admire the fast YTD growth, i remember someone telling me on Facebook back in 2016 saying "you will be surprised at how fast your yearly dividend income will grow in 5 years". That person is a million percent right, we still got 2 more years until we hit 5 years ;)

Roth IRA

Taxable Account

Total: $85.60 (punches hard through the air) LETS GO BABY!!!
YoY: 92.40%
Purchases: 2 shares of RDS-B, 6 shares of VCLT (classic holding)

In the month of December i brought back a classic holding i used to own waaaay back in 2016. VClT will act as a monthly dividend generator for the taxable account, im always thinks of ways to better the taxable account to help my 40 year old self 17-16 years from now ;) and if he happens to look back at this post so many years from now.........your welcome ;)

So 2018 has come to a close, ive more than doubled my YTD 2 years in a row and have achieved an all time high of $85+ in dividends in a month, so what comes next. Its time to take things even higher, continue to work hard, and push my YTD dividend income to the next level (always pushing higher and higher).

Taking things to the next level just like my boy Goku,
always pushing his limits.

(goku goes pushes ssj2 but its not enough, without any hesitation we wants to push it t the next level)

Im just as hyped for my 2019, as i was when i saw this for the very first when i was like 10 years old. I cant described my determination in words, so i share videos of characters who described my determination. Im ready for 2019, this year im not letting off the gas at all. Its full throttle for the next 12 months baby.

I hope you all had a successful month with your dividend income, go make that sweet dividend money, and ill see you guys next time :)
